RICA is Italian liposoluble wax — the type used in professional salons. Liposoluble means oil-soluble: it grips the hair rather than the skin, spreads thin, and comes away without the tearing and redness that cheap hard wax causes. It also cleans off with oil rather than requiring aggressive scrubbing.
All are 400ml tins.
The most expensive mistake in this category is buying wax and a warmer that do not fit each other.
RICA's 400ml tins need a tin warmer — a heater with a chamber the tin sits inside. The Konsung WN108-4C listed on this page is a roll-on cartridge heater: it takes 100ml roll-on cartridges and physically will not accept a 400ml tin. The two products on this page are not a set, and we would rather tell you that here than have you find out after delivery.
If you are unsure which you need, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will tell you straight.
Hair should be about 5mm long — shorter and the wax cannot grip. Skin must be clean and completely dry; any oil or moisturiser stops the wax adhering. Apply in the direction of hair growth, pull against it, and hold the skin taut with your free hand. Always patch-test a small area first, especially with a new formula.
