Sapil Perfumes in Pakistan: Nice Feelings Black, Chichi and Solid

Sapil is a UAE perfume house, and in Pakistan it occupies a specific place: proper fragrance construction at a price that is not a designer price. Three scents matter — Nice Feelings Black, Chichi and Solid — and each comes in two formats that cost wildly different amounts.

That format question is the one most people get wrong, so we will deal with it first.

The concentrated bottle and the body spray are not the same thing

Sapil sells most of its scents twice:

  • Eau de Toilette — 75–100ml, lasts three to five hours, built to be worn.
  • Perfumed Body Spray — 200ml, lasts one to two hours, built to be reapplied.

They genuinely smell the same. The difference is concentration: a body spray carries far less fragrance oil, which is why it costs a fraction as much and why it does not carry from morning to evening.

The honest guidance: if you have never smelled the scent, buy the body spray first. It is a cheap way to find out whether you like something, and if you do, the EDT is still there. If you already know you like it and want it to last through a working day, buy the EDT — no amount of reapplying a body spray reproduces what the concentrated bottle does.

Neither is a fake version of the other. They are two different products for two different jobs.

Nice Feelings Black — the one people ask for

Lavender and lemon up top, cinnamon and jasmine through the middle, oakmoss and sandalwood underneath.

This is a proper aromatic fougère — the classical men's structure, the same family as a great many expensive European fragrances. The cinnamon is what makes it distinctive: it gives the scent a warmth that most fresh-lavender fragrances do not have, and it is the reason Nice Feelings Black works in a Pakistani winter and at an evening event rather than only in daylight.

Best for: evenings, winter, wedding season, anyone who finds purely fresh scents boring.

Worth knowing: the EDT is 75ml rather than 100ml, which is why the per-ml price looks higher than Solid's. It is also the more distinctive of the two men's scents.

Solid — the best-known one

Citrus up top, spice through the middle, woods and musk underneath. Another aromatic fougère, but drier and less sweet than Nice Feelings Black.

Solid is Sapil's most recognised men's scent and the more conventional of the two. Where Nice Feelings Black has cinnamon warmth, Solid stays clean and woody throughout. It is the safer bottle of the pair and the better one for daytime and office wear.

Best for: daily wear, office, year-round use.

Chichi — the women's one

A chypre floral: fruity top notes, aldehydes, and a musk base.

Chypre is worth explaining because the word puts people off. It describes a structure — bright citrus or fruit at the top over a mossy, woody base — and it is one of the oldest and most classical shapes in perfumery. What it means in practice is that Chichi does not smell like a modern sweet floral. It is softer, drier and more grown-up than most body sprays in this price range.

The aldehydes are the other distinctive part: they give the opening a slightly soapy, clean brightness, the quality people recognise from classic French perfumes without being able to name it.

Best for: daily wear, office, anyone who finds sweet fruity scents too young.

Worth knowing: Chichi also comes in a men's body spray. The scent is shared across the line rather than split by gender, and plenty of people buy whichever they prefer regardless of the label.

Which Sapil should you buy?

Never tried Sapil: a body spray. Nice Feelings Black if you want warmth, Solid Silver if you want clean.

Buying for daily office use: Solid EDT, or Chichi EDT for women.

Buying for evenings and wedding season: Nice Feelings Black EDT.

Buying a gift: the EDT, in the scent you have already smelled. A gift is the wrong moment to guess.

Getting more out of it

Spray onto skin that is still slightly damp from a shower, and aim at pulse points rather than clothes. This matters more with an EDT than people expect — dry skin sheds fragrance quickly, and it is the most common reason a scent seems to disappear within the hour.

For body sprays, the opposite applies: they are designed to be used generously and reapplied. That is what the 200ml can is for.

All Sapil products here are sealed, original, and available with cash on delivery across Pakistan.
