Which Yardley London Perfume Should You Buy?
Yardley sells five men's Eau de Toilettes in Pakistan and they all cost roughly the same — Rs 2,699, except Sport at Rs 2,749. That is unusual, and it is good news: you are not choosing a budget. You are choosing a smell.
The problem is that the bottles do not tell you much apart from the name, and the names do not help. Sport, Navy, Equity, Gentleman Classic, Gentleman Urbane. Nothing there tells you which one survives a Karachi afternoon and which one is wrong for an office.
This is the comparison we would give you across the counter.
The short answer
- Something for daily use that never offends — Sport, Rs 2,749
- Something that survives real heat — Navy, Rs 2,699
- Something formal for meetings — Equity, Rs 2,699
- Something for a wedding or dinner — Gentleman Classic, Rs 2,699
- Something quiet for an office — Gentleman Urbane, Rs 2,699
If you only read this far: Navy for summer, Gentleman Classic for wedding season, Sport if you want one bottle and no decisions.
Yardley London Sport — the everyday one
Bergamot and sage up top, a salt-air marine note through the middle, drying down to musk and oakmoss.
Sport is the safest bottle in the range. It is fresh without being sharp, it does not announce itself, and there is no situation where wearing it is a mistake. That is exactly what makes it the one to buy first — and also why some people find it forgettable.
Best for: university, the office, running errands, anyone buying their first proper fragrance.
Worth knowing: it sits closer to the skin than a designer scent. If you want people across the room to notice, this is not the one.

Yardley London Navy — the hot-weather one
Grapefruit and yuzu over a soft floral heart, drying down to amber, moss and musk.
Navy is built for heat, and in Pakistan that matters more than almost anything else on this page. Heavy, sweet, woody fragrances turn cloying above 35°C — the warmth pushes them off the skin faster and louder than they were designed to go. Citrus-marine scents like this one behave better: they stay crisp, and when they fade they fade cleanly.
Best for: May through September. Daytime. Anyone who has ever felt their perfume turn against them in traffic.
Worth knowing: the same quality that makes it good in heat makes it lighter in winter. If you want one bottle for the whole year, Sport is the more even choice.

Yardley London Equity — the formal one
Bergamot and lemon, rosemary and clary sage, settling on sandalwood and musk.
Equity is a citrus-herbal cologne in the traditional sense — clean, dry, slightly bitter, and distinctly serious. It is the most formal of the five and the one that reads as "adult" rather than "fresh".
Best for: meetings, interviews, anywhere you want to be taken seriously. Works year-round.
Worth knowing: the herbal opening is sharper than most people expect in the first ten minutes. Give it that long before deciding.
Yardley London Equity EDT 100ml →
Yardley London Gentleman Classic — the evening one
Cardamom and black pepper up front, sandalwood and a hint of white chocolate underneath.
This is the warmest bottle Yardley makes, and the only one on this list with real sweetness in it. Spice into sandalwood into something faintly gourmand — it is a night-time structure, and it is the obvious pick for Pakistani wedding season.
Best for: weddings, dinners, winter evenings, anywhere with a dress code.
Worth knowing: it is warm and it projects. Wearing this to a 40°C afternoon is the single most common way to get Gentleman Classic wrong.
Yardley London Gentleman Classic EDT 100ml →
Yardley London Gentleman Urbane — the office one
Lavender, thyme and sandalwood — a woody aromatic, deliberately restrained.
Urbane is Classic's quieter half. Same family, none of the sweetness, and it sits closer to the skin than anything else in the range. That is a design choice, not a weakness: an open-plan office is a bad place for a fragrance people can smell before they see you.
Best for: daily office wear, shared desks, anyone who has been told their perfume is strong.
Worth knowing: if you want compliments, this is the wrong bottle. It is built to be noticed at conversation distance and nowhere else.

Two things worth understanding before you spend Rs 2,699
Eau de Toilette is not Eau de Parfum. All five of these are EDT, which means a lower concentration of fragrance oil and roughly three to five hours of real wear before the scent settles close to the skin. That is normal and it is reflected in the price. Anyone promising you twelve hours from an EDT is selling something.
How you apply it changes the result more than which bottle you pick. Spray onto skin that is still slightly damp after a shower, and target pulse points — the neck, the wrists, the inside of the elbows — rather than clothing. Dry skin sheds fragrance fast. This is the single biggest reason people think a perfume "does not last" on them.
So which one?
If you are buying one bottle and want to stop thinking about it: Sport.
If you live somewhere that gets genuinely hot and you will wear it through summer: Navy.
If you already own a fresh fragrance and want a second for evenings and wedding season: Gentleman Classic.
All five are 100ml, all are sealed, and all are available with cash on delivery across Pakistan.
