Only Aura Sunblock SPF 60 is a daily broad-spectrum sunscreen. Broad spectrum is the part that matters most: it covers UVB, which causes burning, and UVA, which drives pigmentation and the slow loss of firmness people put down to age. A high SPF number alone tells you nothing about UVA.
On the number itself — the honest version is that the jump from SPF 30 to SPF 60 is smaller than it sounds. SPF 30 filters roughly 97% of UVB and SPF 60 around 98%. What actually decides whether you are protected is how much you apply and how often you reapply, not the figure on the tube. Most people apply about a quarter of the amount used in testing, which turns an SPF 60 into something far lower in practice.
Best for: daily wear in a Pakistani climate — the commute, the walk between buildings, the school run. This is the one to keep in regular use rather than save for beach days.
What to expect: a lightweight finish that sits under makeup. Reapply every two to three hours if you are outdoors. Sunscreen is also the step that makes any brightening product worth using, since pigmentation here is largely sun-driven.
Broad-spectrum SPF 60 for everyday use — shields against sunburn, pigmentation and premature ageing.
